"Join me for this 2 hour workshop where we will explore the principles and practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), working with the season of Winter and its associated element of water, and the kidney and urinary bladder meridians (energy pathways).
This workshop will be patient, peaceful and powerful - a Yin Yang approach to help cultivate balance of mind, body and soul during the darkest time of the year.
In the time of the water element and winter, energy slows down, and we look to move deeper inside body, mind and soul.
Taking our lead from nature, perhaps we need to allow for this slowing and shedding process in amongst the often over stimulating world we live in.
This workshop will include a short and steady Hatha based practice, where will we hold and explore several asana, followed by a Yin Yoga practice encouraging us to be slow and still, and end in a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra."
