Karine and YOGAnnick are used interchangeably throughtout this document, but refer to the business of YOGAnnick, owned by Karine.

Information gathered through this website and through booking and information forms allows Karine to better understand any particular needs you may have.

As the teacher, Karine has a legitimate interest to protect clients (you) before, during and after Yoga classes and to make any necessary adjustments or recommendations to meet those needs.

What type of information is collected?

Karine receives, collects and stores any information you enter on her website or that you provide in any other way. Personal identifiable information which includes name, email address, address, telephone number, age and health / medical information which is voluntarily provided, comments, feedback, reviews and recommendations.

If you do not feel comfortable disclosing your personal information, please discuss this with Karine.

Please consult with your GP before attending a Yoga Class, and it is advised that any medical details are discussed with Karine, though this is at your discretion.

How is information collected?

When you conduct a transaction on the Yogannick.com website, as part of the process, personal information that you provide such as your name, email address and telephone number will be collected. When booking a service, making an enquiry or subscribing, your information is emailed directly to Karine.

When booking an appointment, your information is stored on a secure booking system (via WIX) and emailed to Karine. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only, and to ensure the safety of the client (you).

In the case that information is collected via a paper based health questionnaire or similar this is securely stored in a lockable filing cabinet at Karine’s business address.

Why is such personal information collected?

Non-personal and personal information is collected for the following purposes:

1. To provide relevant support and advice to the client (you) dependant on their needs.

2. To ensure the safety of clients during Yoga Classes, 121 Yoga, Yoga Workshops or other services provided.

3. To be able to contact website visitors and clients with general or personalised service-related notices, promotional messages and marketing material for Workshops, Classes and other events run by Karine.

4. To discuss any other necessary things related to the services offered by Karine.

5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How does Karine store, use, share and disclose site visitors and clients personal information?

Information gathered via the online booking system through WIX stores all personal data of the client and copies are emailed directly to Karine.

When booking appointments with Karine you will be required to enter your personal details via the payment system to secure the booking.

If you email Karine, your email address is stored on Google.

Third party services and applications have their own Privacy Policies and information relating to data processing.

Karine does not physically share personal information with any other third parties.

How does Karine communicate with site visitors and clients?

Karine may contact you via email, text message, phone call or post, to update you on events, classes, workshops, promotional deals, and any other information which Karine believes the client may be interested in. Clients are asked to confirm whether they wish to receive marketing material and updates and can opt out at any stage.

To opt out of receiving any information from Karine you can unsubscribe at the bottom of a Newsletter and notify her by email.

It is advised that all personal information is kept up to date.

Your personal information can be stored for up to 6 years, however you can request for your personal data to be deleted at any time.

Karine / YOGAnnick reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently.

Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.

If material changes are made to this policy, you will be notified, so that you are aware of what information is collected, how it is used, and under what circumstances, if any, Karine / YOGAnnick use and/or disclose it.
